Morphological Description
Cap dark brown (date) and slightly slimy when fresh (glutinous/gelified pileipellis). Whitish, membranous partial veil remnants on irregular margin. Cap damaged, potentially from predation and/or environmental factors. Gills are tan and adnate to slightly decurrent; lamellulae present. Stalk is tan, filamentous and firm, even to slightly bulbous. No volva.
