Notes |
Mushroom is 6" x 3". Orange/Golden cap colour and fades into transluscent yellow at edges of cap. Stipe same colour as faded yellow edges of cap. Gills are short decurrent. Cap and stipe are slimy to touch and delicate in integrity. Mushroom smell is fishlike with no taste being present. Spores are hyaline (clear) with no ornamention and an average size of 2.5-5 x 3-5 micrometers. Pleurocystidia and cheilocystidia are present (25-45 x 5-10 micrometers and 20-40 x 4-9 micrometers respectively). |
