Morphological Description
Orange mushroom with shiny, slimy cap when wet. The cap is more vibrant than the stipe which is paler in colour. Cap is depressed and arched-uplifted. Gill attachment is decurrent.

Mushroom has a milky white latex and a delayed, peppery taste. Spore print is creamy white. Spores are subglobose to broadly ellipsoid, ornamented with irregular ridges and scattered warts, that turn blue-black in reaction with Melzer's reagent.
