Morphological Description
Gregarious on branch, about 5 individuals in two groups. Disc portion of cap bright whitish yellow; margins creamy yellow. Cap conic and thin. The stipe from 10–30 mm long, 1-2 mm thick, and darker yellow than the cap. Clearly geotropic, the stipe turned upward 90 degrees to align the cap bottom to parallel the ground. The cap and stipe are visid (slimy and moist) and when cut had a detectable odour that can be described as “the normal mushroom smell.”
