Notes
The fruiting body of the fungus is a creamy, yellow colour with a white coloured inner flesh. It consists of stems branching from a main base and forking at the tip. The fungus is approximately 5cm high with a base width of approximately 1.5cm. The spores are smooth in texture, but so few in number it was not possible to make out colour. The spores measure 9micrometers in length and 4 micrometers in width. The basidia have four sterigmata. The scent was very faint but slightly musty.
Habitat
Found growing in moss at the base of a Hemlock tree. Moss was located on a rock near a creek.
