Since the specimen does not have a strong odour it may lead one to believe that the specimen is not C. traganus. however, DNA sequencing and comparison to data in GenBank support the hypothesis that this specimen is in fact C. traganus.

On the side of a cliff facing West. Growing in soil surrounded by decomposing wood and various deciduous and coniferous trees.
