Notes
Cap size: 7.0cm Cap was soft and spongy with brown spots. It has a redddish brown colour. Cap was convex. Cap was quite smooth without too many fibres or scales.
Pores are dull yellow colour radially arranged. They bruise brown. Pores were about 1mm across and about 0.7 cm deep. Tubes were adnate. Would be easy to remove stipe.
Stem or stipe is 7.8cm long and 2cm thick at the middle of stem. 3cm deep at the base of stem. Stem tapers from the base. Yellow above partial veil and predominantly white below, however streaked brown below the partial veil. Stem is smooth.
Partial Veil: is white and dry.
Spore print: Cinammon spore print. Spores were elliptical and measured 8.35 X 3.75 micrometers.
Odour: none and taste was mild.
Habitat
Growing out of a Douglas Fir Tree. By itself.
