gill edges white; lower portion of stipe darker (with greenish tinge?); smell is chemical/fishy and becomes strongly fishy when KOH is applied to cap; cap margin unbroken; tissue stains slightly red when exposed. Dried, flesh and gill faces are very dark, almost black.

on an old Western Red Cedar stump in a forest dominated by Western Hemlock
