Notes
Light green colouration on top of shelf mushroom. Very thin basidiocarp tissues. Light gray/beige underside, with very small pores. Slightly fuzzy on the top. Green colouring due to symbiotic relationship with algae. Top is dry, but feels slightly moist when picked fresh. Pileipellis difficult to remove. Hyphal system is trimitic: skeletal, generative and binding hyphae. Stalk-less (sessile).
Habitat
Found on upright, small, young, birch-like tree. No moss was growing on the tree and all leaves and small branches were removed (looked like a tall, thin stump or a sign post). No or little signs of tree rot. Tree located next to the path. Very few trees/bushes surrounding this tree.
