Originally identified as I. griseolilacina which grows exclusively in deciduous forests in calcium rich soils according to the Fungi of Switzerland.
Habitat
This mushroom is terrestrial, and as such, was found in the forest, scattered amongst others of the same species, upon the soil, near a Douglas fir tree.
