Morphological Description
Macroscopic: Cap yellow/brown in color, convex, crenate, glabrous, 10-12mm across and 6-8mm deep. Stripe with annulus, light near cap darkening near the base, 35-40mm long. Gill attachment adnate/uncinate with gills subdistant and unequally attached. Slight color change when wet/dry, slight striations when wet. No distinct smell or taste (note: collector has poor sense of smell and taste).Microscopic: Average spore size 7-8um x 4.5-5um. Spores with rough edges under 100x magnification. Basidia 4-spored, 25-30um x 6-8um. Cheilocystidia and pleurocystidia present, approx three times the size of basidia. Cheiocystidia can be 'bowling pin' like in appearance, with a rounded apex and swollen middle.
