Notes
Taste unpalatable, acrid, taste with slight hints of spiciness that sometimes lasted in the mouth for a short period of time. The pileus of the mushroom measured out to be around 6.5cm in diameter and 1.5cm in thickness, while the stipe was around 4.2cm in height and 1.8cm in width. The cap was yellow-brown in colour, had a margin that was straight to slightly decurved, and was pulvinate in shape. Gills were thin and closely packed, forked occasionally, had edges that were even, and was light ivory in colour, while the stipe had an equal base with no annulus, was clavate in shape, and was also white to ivory in colour. No signs of bruising was observed in all parts of the mushroom when broken, but the stipe turned slightly yellow when scratched or pinched but was inconspicuous. Over time the paleus became more shiny, slimy, and rubbery in feel, while the stipe hardens and the gills turn a warm pale yellow in colour.
