350 meters up the Capilano Park East Service Road from the Capilano River Hatchery, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at an elevation of approximately 125 meters. It was found along a hillside of Hemlock and Pine with other coniferous trees on a dead, rotting coniferous tree stump about 20 meters north of the trail up into the hillside.

The stipe was a light grey-tan or white both lightening sandy tan 3+ hours after collection
The initial colour of the pileus was a dull dark grey with the darkest part at the center and lightening towards the edge and lighten to a dull grey/tan 3+ hours after collection.
Cap measured 28mm fresh
Stipe measured 50mm x 3.1mm when fresh
25-30 lamellae reaching the stipe and have 3 lengths of sub-lamellae at ¼, ½, and ¾ the radius of the pileus from the outer edge.
Spore prints were white to cream in colour, slightly lemon shaped with an average length of 7-8.75µM and 3.75-5µM in width. There was a slight amyloid reaction yielding a darker yellow spore but no blue hue could be detected. Microscopy of the gill face sections and longitudinal sections revealed 4-spored basidiospore along with a dextriniod reaction of the lamellar trama.
Irregularly shaped cystidia were sparsely viewed, however no definitive identification of shape or size could be made.
