Morphological Description |
Macroscopic Characteristics: Cap (pileus)- 15-20mm, light almost yellow cinnamon colour, covered with a darker brown granulose wart, plano-convex and slightly connate at peak. Lamellae- whitish cream in colour, adnexed, fairly close together or crowded. Stipe- 20-40 x 3-4mm, near top is purplish in colour and smooth with an almost silky appearance, bellow which it is foliose in appearance retaining similar colouration to the cap Odor- no noticeable odor Taste- no noticeable taste Spore Print- white
Microscopic Characteristics: Basidiospores – 6-7.5 x 3-4 μm oblong shape and smooth walled, are amyloid.

Habitat |
Specimen was found growing on top of a fallen log on the forest floor covered with unidentified bryophytes. The log type was unidentifiable. Surrounding was a mostly young Douglas Fir mixed forest with other evergreens, maples, and birch, receiving ample rain and a thick covering of understory moss and ferns. Furthermore, multiple unidentified mushroom types where growing within 10m radius, with the collected specimen growing in a 2 small clumps of 2 mushrooms each. |
