Cap: Reddish-brown with pale edge. A sticky, mucus-like substance covered the top of the cap on the fresh specimen.
Convex to plane.
Gills: Beige-colored, slightly decurrent.
Fragile and easily broken.
Stalk: White, slightly tapered towards cap.
No ring visible, and no bulb at the base.
Odor: Fresh specimen had a faint, fish-like smell
Spore Print: Faint brown trails
