No veil or latex. Distinct chemical smell. Height 10.1-11.5 cm. Cap acutely pointed or with papillate umbo, smooth and slightly slick, between dark yellow, orange-brown, with the centre being darker and gradually becoming lighter at the edges, ~ 4.1 cm wide. Light yellow adnate gills. Yellow/orange lemon shaped spores 9.2 X 5.45 µm. Cheilocystidia cylindrical. Stipe smooth.
