Total height: 15.0 cm. Cap height: 4.5 cm. Cap width: 12.0 cm. Cap is dark maroon/brown, convex, and with fibrillose scales. Green/yellow pores about 1 – 2 mm wide. Olive coloured spore print.
Stalk 12.0 cm tall, 2.0 – 2.5 cm wide, widest at the base, dark brown, reticulate, with beige streaks. No distinctive taste or smell, no colour changes, latex. Spores spindle shaped to ellipsoid 19.6 μm X 7.9 μm.
Habitat
Growing out of old conifer stump.
