The fibrillose caps yellowish brown, subtly conical, dry and cracked. Stipes fibrillose, cream colored, with marginate bulb. It was fibrillose when broken, and wasn’t overly delicate. The first specimen had a cap diameter of 3.6 cm and a stipe length of 5.2 cm. The second specimen, which was dried and preserved for the herbarium, had a cap with a diameter of 5.3cm and 6.1 cm long stipe. Gills cream-coloured, adnexed. No ring, no prominent smell or taste.
