Morphological Description
Cap: 33 mm in diameter, conic/campanulate shape, surface shiny and smooth, color dark blue to purple/black, cap margin smooth and straight to unlifted
Gills: broad, unequal, white to peachy/flesh color, drying to light brown/beige
Stalk: Central, 90 mm long, large in proportion to cap, shrinking largely upon drying.
Stipe 9 mm in diameter at base, 6.5 mm in diameter near apex.
Veil: Absent
Spore Print: Pink to light brown
Microscopic Characteristics:
Spore shape: angled, lumpy spherical spores with point at one end
