Morphological Description
5-6 cm tall black fruiting bodies with ~0.8cm wide club shaped top. Entire fruiting body is velvety in texture. Dark brown ascospores are 120µm long and 5µm wide with around 15 total septa. Asci are ~240µm long and 20µm wide, with 8 total ascospores. Dark setae intersperse fertile layer and are 220µm long and 5µm wide.
