Field Notes:
Growing in a cluster on a decaying fallen log near Capilano River. Squishy. "Stipe" on mature apothecia is extremely short. Apothecia are smooth, round, and cushion-like, and look to be more wrinkly and upturned with age. Reddish purple colour.
