cap diameter: 1.9 cm
stipe length: 8.5 cm
mushroom cap was bright orange, with a darker orange-brown circle in the centre of the cap where the stipe attached. The stipe was the same orange as the cap, and lightened to yellow towards the base. no distinct smell. cap and stipe were very viscid when fresh. no staining. gills subdecurrent and relatively large/thick and spaced out. Whole mushroom viscid
white spore print.
Average spore size: 6.4 x 4 µm
spores hyaline/clear/colourless with light/bright green contents. |
