Color of cap is brown, gills moderately ochre. Edge of cap is rounded in younger species and uplifted/undulating the older species. Scent is mildly sweet. No annulus present. Longitudinally striate. Gills slightly eroded and appear to be adnexed in the older species, but deccurent in younger. Gill spacing crowded and unequal. Spore print is a creamy white color with long amyloid spores present of dimensions 7.5um by 4um.

Growing off of the end of a nurse log as the base of hemlock tree. Nurse log identity unknown. Found growing in relatively denser canopy with little light penetration.
