Notes
found in clumps about 11.5cm high and 6 cm wide about 0.5-1m apart; growing under a hazelnut tree in a deep layer of decaying deciduous leaves; the faint scent of anise or licorice when fresh and flavour neutral with a bitter after taste, scent increases in intensity as the mushroom dries; spores are smooth with the following dimensions ~5 μm x 8.75 μm. Sequence >99% identical to holotype Ramaria stricta var. concolor voucher TENN 34308
