Mild earthy smell; Cap very light brown when fresh but turn darker brown when drier, scaly, convex, filamentous without pileipellis; Stipe brown, scaly, stipe surface is lined with widely spaced scales or fibrils that are dark brown in color, white dots present near the gill attachment; White spore print; spore elliptical, hyaline, thick-walled, non-amyloid; Numerous basidia and basidiospores lined on the base of the gills. |
