32mm x 16mm mushroom. Depressed cap, split, undulating, rugulose and firm. Black disc; dark grey margin. Notched, broad, pale gray gills with deep purple/royal blue eroded edges + truncate lamellulae; grey-violet filamentous stipe, centred, no volva or ring. White base. Mild tate, potato/cheese smell. At largest, pileus width: 18mm; thickness at disc: 6mm; gill lengthxbreadth: 45mm; stipe lengthxwidth: 86mm. Flesh is firm and fibrous. Spores are salmon-pink, with round centre & irregular (hexagonal) outer coat.
