Morphological Description
|
-gill spacing:close
-stipe flexous, with white base near mycelium
-stipe hollow and pithy(black)near base
-cap light(tawny) brown with dark brown striations down toward edge. Cap edge smooth but grooved. Cap plano-convex with very slight umbo, and persistently incurred margins.
-cortina dark and present on young specimens
-flesh bruises brown
-taste and odor peanuty to earthy
-KOH (gills and spores) -ve
-Meltzer's (gills and spores) -ve
-Gills and cap simular (tawn-brown) color
-Gills attached,notched.
-Cap thickness: 2 cm |
