When treated with Melzer’s reagent, the spores are outlined in blue, showing them to be slightly amylose. Gill trama is not amylose. Trama is made of large ovoid cells. Pleurocystidia are large, 70-90 µm by 10-13µm and prevalent. They are smooth and hyaline.
