Pale buff spores, ~9 x 8 microns across with warts and ridges. The cap is ~7cm, convex, viscid when wet, a dark olive with concentric circles of darker spots. It is acrid and brittle, bearing copious white latex that slowly becomes a greenish-grey. The stalk is ~8cm long, ~1cm thick, solid, and spotted but otherwise coloured like the cap. It can be differentiated from L. atroviridis by its spore print and spots, and from L. necator by its acrid taste. Found in early fall in a Pacific Northwest coniferous forest.
