Diameter: as small as 6 mm on the most immature mushroom and approx. 18 mm on the most mature specimen
Height: 4-10 mm
Shape: mature pileus is convex. The curvature of the pileus margin is deflexed. An obtuse modification of the pileus disc.
Color: darker, more uniform reddish beige-brown is seen in the disk portion and lightens towards the marginal area. The marginal area is a lighter shade of gray-beige/brown.
Slight radiating streaks towards the margin present.
Surface appearance: glabrous
Surface feel: moist and smooth
Odour: "typical" mushroom odour--similar to that of the common Agaricus mushroom
