Cap: Semicircular, broadly attached, 5-8 cm wide, ~4 cm long, 1.5 cm thick at the base. Soft and watery when fresh, rigid when dry. Upper surface white with some pale gray regions when fresh, becoming more yellow when dry.
Pore surface creamy white, more yellowish when dry.
Pores: Pores thin-walled, tubes up to 5 mm deep when fresh
Substrata: Conk-like on dead deciduous wood as substrate
