| Notes
|
Convex to plane cap, 6.5cm in diameter, with a deep red, brown colour. Stipe is a more red, purple colour fading white in the middle, and pores are bright yellow. Spores are ellipsoid to oblong, 12.5-15 x 3.75-5um and cystidia are cylindrical, 37.5-40 x 6.25-7.5um. Minimal blue staining after long air exposure, no distinct odor, and mild to slight acidic taste. |
